Shah Faisal Masjid is the national masjid of Pakistan, it the 6th largest masjid of the world and largest within South Asia. Faisal masjid is located just below the margalla hills Islamabad. Faisal masjid  is famous for its beautiful Turkish design with 4 minarets. There are about 300,000 people who can perform the prayer.


The construction of Faisla masjid started in 1976 with the help of the Saudi Govt. King Shah Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz took the initiative and provided aid of $28 million to build Faisal Masjid, That’s why Masjid bears his name Faisal. 


Faisal Masjid is another good evening trip destination for people of twin cities. It is located on Islamabad expressway. It is about 10 km from Faizabad bus station. If you want to spend your evening in a peaceful environment, 

Faisal Masjid is a good place. You can sit there for hours. It is full of tourists in the evening and very famous for people of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.  Anyone who comes to Islamabad must visit Faisal Masjid. People feel pleasant to see the beautiful architecture of Faisal masjid.

There is also a green belt in the surrounding area of the Masjid. You will enjoy sitting there, I recommend that you visit in the evening. Also a very good place for photography. Islamabad expressway is also good to travel.

You can easily visit Pakistan Monument, Faisla Masjid and Daman e Koh in one trip after 2pm, So guys Explore Pakistan and make a trip and enjoy
